RMS (RASHTRIYA MILITARY SCHOOL)
The schools are category ‘A’ establishment of the Army and are administrated by the Directorate General of Military Training at IHQ of MOD(Army). The Central Governing Council(CGC), headed by the Defence Secretary, Ministry of Defence is the apex body for these schools.These School is recognized by the CBSE. There are five Rashtriya Military Schools located at Bangalore, Belgaum (Karnataka) Ajmer, Dholpur ( Rajasthan) and Chail ( Himachal Pradesh )
Admission Procedure
Admission is through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted annually for Classes VI and IX. Selection is based on merit and medical fitness.
Age Criteria DOB:
- class 6 DOB 1/april/2015 to 31/march/2017
- class 9 DOB 1/april/2012 to 31/march/2014
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the previous class from a recognized school prior to admission.
